End of Year Resolutions and Gratitude

During a pandemic time, this conversation was looking at New Year Resolutions in a new light. Maybe not make stressful resolutions. Make some fun, life, gratitude type resolutions. Do something you haven't done that you want to! Experience life where you live!

Procrastination? Don't be a PRO-Crastinator

In this short clip I share how I have created my system for processing through all the information that comes at us every day. Specifically, how to organize ALL the great ideas and create an implementation plan when you attend conferences or webinars, etc. My Top 5 ideas and Implementation Plan has served me well AND most responsible for all of the major systems that have been put into action over the past 20 years.

What is your MAD - Massive Action Day?

In this share I talk about how MAD Week is to go through my database and check in on EVERY relationship in there. Check on the information, how am I staying in touch, etc. The assault on the new year is coming from my WarRoom in my home office where all the action and intention is created and implemented. Lastly, reviewing the BIG BIG BIG vision and getting clear on that with a time frame to keep the train moving forward.

Living & Loving Through Grattitude - A Clubhouse Conversation

Today's share is a tactical share to move out of any current situation that you do not like to be in. Our conversation today was about making a choice to move toward positive things and take action to be responsible for all the greatness you can have. I shared the start in my real estate career was not successful at all, and after 3 years, moving back to Kansas City, I made the decision to not "get stuck in the middle" as my friend Frank shared on clubhouse app. I refocused, found other successful agents and took action applying the things they were doing, and perfecting them to get results. That has lledto a 30+ year career in real estate selling an average of 100 properties each year for over 20 consecutive years. Now I can share that success with others and help them build a career (even if it is not in real estate) to be thankful for and to live an amazing life of gratitude. You can find more of these systems at www.EmythRealEstateAgent.com

Expanding Your Awareness - How are you doing that?

Being aware that there are always bigger and better things no matter where you are now. Are you looking around? Are you absorbing your surroundings? Our comfort zone is comfortable.. and can feel like success. I share in this segment how staying out of your comfort zone will serve you well when "things" happen to you. When bad things happen and you are comfortable, you will get sucked down to un-comfortable. When you are above your comfort zone and something bad happens, it will suck you to comfortable and allow you to be present in the current situation vs distracted with other stresses.

SHIFT - Are you preparing for the next Shift?

Shift Happens! This share is about being aware there is one coming, right now and another one behind that one. Be and stay in the conversation. Hang around people that talk about it, and pay attention to all the conversations to get the most information you can so you can be ready to SHIFT you and your business when those shifts arrive. I share the movie scene from The Big Short showing how many people think the crashed market of 2008-2009 happened then, when in actuality, it started in 2005. Being aware and catching that shift beginning helped me be in a good position by 2008 to take advantage of the SHIFT

Life and Business Planning - Review 2021

This was my recap of what I learned from 2021 and where my focus will be for business planning in 2022. The lesson to share is that life moves fast! and once you create your business plan for 2022, what are you going to do different this year to keep it in front of you every week and month through 2022 and do you re-evaluate or - update or add to it every quarter or 6 months?

Forgivenss

My Share, Forgiveness 11/4/21 contribute and share personal story. Hopefully this may help someone else going through something similar. - Divorce- the unspeakable- having to forgive can be tough. Tony mentioned - step 4- Took responsibility- I take responsibility because I was working long hours-had multiple jobs and it was to provide for my family! That forgiveness allowed our 4 daughters to have the best "growing up childhood in a divorced family" they could. That forgiveness didn't necessarily mean everything that happened was right and justified. The Forgiveness was for the kids and to truly do that so we could give our kids a great life. BAD Business Partnership - Almost lost my 20 year Biz- I was taken advantage of with what seemed to be honest, christian partners who aparantly lived in the contract world more than valuing their "word" and saying whatever they had to say to get the contract signed. I just asked God to "forgive them for they know not what they do" They were so far in their forest/Story I don't even think they believe they were literally putting people out of business and stealing money that was putting hardships on agent after agent that realized they were stuck and the contract was all that mattered to them. I don't talk about this much, even though it was a major pivot in my business and future to help every agent survive and thrive in real estate. I chose to forgive to keep that negative energy out of my life. - To me, they really are not around, I don't see them, and is it as if they were never really there. By forgiving, I really cashed in on life! Worked on my book with Michael Gerber and taking our 100 sales in any market around the globe and able to get back to enjoying life with my wife Lynette and creating the ultimate lifestyle for us, our kids and grandkids.

Rethink Positive Thinking

How do you change negative thoughts and change direction when you feel like you are spiraling downward? In this share, I discuss how Glen Moreshower (actor from hundreds of shows and movies - like Transformers and West Wing) talks about the spiral staircase. To change direction you need to stop sliding now, and start to take one step up, then step 2, then step 3 and gain that momentum going the other direction.

Be Unlimited - Brad sharing Michael E Geber's Dreaming Room

Our conversation in the Clubhouse Achievers Breakfast room today was on Be Unlimited. I shared my experiences since reading The E-Myth Revisited over 25 years ago. In Michael Gerber's Dreaming room we start with a blank piece of paper. Take time to pause and dream big! Michael has entire E-Myth series including "Awakening the Entrepreneur within". Inside everyone is a Dreamer, Thinker, Storyteller and Leader. in the Dreamer, Michael talks about starting with your dream. The dream "to transform the state of ______ worldwide". What is it you want to cause change? In Michael's 8-Fold path, you begin that journey. The 8-fold path is 1) Your Dream 2) Your Vision 3) Your Purpose 4) Your Mission 5) your job and client fulfillment system 6) your practice and client acquisition system 7) your business and turn-key management system 8) Your enterprise and turn-key leadership system The ultimate goal is to clarify your personal success and to develop a strategic objective, a higher purpose that is passionately aligned with your most powerful interest in life. www.EmythRealEstateAgent.com is a great free resource to see how these systems were implemented in Brad Korn & The Korn Team real estate business to where it is today.

Today's clubhouse app share in the Achievers Breakfast club was about the Power of Example. When we find our "thing" we focus and become the specialist in that area. Some Power names that come to mind are: David Allen - Productivity Bob Burg - Giving Jim Rohn - Inspiration Stephen Covey - Efficiency Jeff Olson - Choices Special Forces - The training to be Elite Sam Silverstein - Accountability Michael Gerber - Systems Me- Systematizing the relationship follow up Personally, I like to find the best of the best and cross our worlds, and meet them and start a relationship so there is an opportunity to learn from them. Statement: Standing on the Shoulders are Giants and if we can grab small bits from many great people, we can become better and being around them to be the example and add to who we are and lead by the best of the best of other greats.

Chose Success Activities Every Day

In this session I share that I don't think people wake up wanting to have an unsuccessful day... many times they just may not know where to start.. or what right activity will move them that direction Making daily choices to move toward success is simple. Michael Gerber, author of E-Myth books, shared that we all make everything more difficult than it needs to be. Success is a journey, not a destination. The DO-ing is more important than the outcome.

this was also shared on the call today
Success - definition in webster is that it is the termination of anything intended (accomplished)

strive not to be person of success, be a person of value

Kim - did away with dis-empowering words... "can't" - don't use it. or when shopping with kids, don't say "that's too expensive".. instead, it is something you don't need at the moment.

Leadership - What Leads a Leader conversation from Clubhouse

In this clip, I share my perspective on leadership and how I have lead throughout my journey as a leader. Glen Morshower shared how what leads him is the legacy he is leaving as a successful TV and Hollywood actor. I shared that I have found too many people in leadership positions feel as though they need to still prove something, or prove they should be in that leadership role. In actuality.. they are in that role because of something they already did to get there. In the book Good to Great, Jim Collins study's the long term success of good businesses and GREAT businesses (those that are still growing and lasting longer than 20+ years) Also, that I look at leadership as the vision (guiding), coaching (accountability), teaching (basic fundamentals needed) and consulting (nudging when they need it) Also shared the difference of being a - Dependent leader (they need you to follow and you carry the weight) - Independent (they go off on their own and work alone) -Interdependent (we become partners - collaborate - stake holders - The BEST way to lead)

Also shared on this call - Leading from the front - posers.. we talked about leading with vision from front of room and then going to the back to grab a "to do" and get to work with the group. Leaders have blind spots. A coach can help uncovers those blind spots Inspiration and motivation comes from pain and pleasure and knowing how to use those to get the team where they want to go Glen Morshower: What leads me? My Legacy. Every day he remembers how he did it, and do IT with clarity Tony shared that some people do that role for money.. I shared that is what leads to trying to "prove" something vs being able to focus on leading to a legacy of helping that group or organization make amazing things happen as an interdependent leader - joining them. Don asked a great question: What are the qualities of a leader in your life that made them so important in your world? -I answered with - someone that makes everyone feel important
- They make you feel like you are the only one they are talking to and working with. Bridget shared looking for team player. someone humble, wholy and smart

Kimberly mentioned leading yourself first.. using systems and having that clarity

Know well what leads you forward and what holds you back
Come from the heart. Process, systems and management will be the tools to make the leadership easier so you can stay focused on the heart
We are all emotional beings

Dr Connor: followers need safety and security
Tony - anchor - what is the specific thing that happens and talked about what creating and collapsing the anchors

Cheryl shared - leaders have a "theory" by which you make decisions and lead. Be willing to work.
Dr Devin- constancy of purpose. Have a unified direction
Rick - has website for boss manager test. find me to get the link.. or googe Rick Torrison

A conversation about how Success Favors Courage

How can I make today better than yesterday? Make the world a better place than we I found it.. so we can have the best life and so can our kids, and their kids, and their kids for generations to come. Have an impact. Successful people like to "solve problems" and they take action to find the solution. There are always other people that would love the solution to the problem and successful people share their solutions. It is way more fun to be on the other side of success with others, than alone.. who would be there to celebrate with you? statement from Dave Ramsey that has always stuck with me: Live Like no one else today - so you can LIVE like NO ONE else

Think & Grow Rich and How I applied to my life

Today the topic was on Think and Grow Rich by Napolean Hill. When hanging with some of the most amazing thought leaders and business coaches in the world, the conversation can get pretty amazing! I share in this video how reading books, writing down every title that someone every suggested and literally buying that book on the spot is what helped to break through that programming that was me as I was growing up. Step 4) Specialize - I referenced the ONE Thing, and today how Gary Keller's Books were an influence on that. Millionaire Real Estate Agent (take our realtor and plug in YOUR profession, and this book will relate). I suggest every business, group, anyone read pages 133-148 a minimum of a dozen times. I did. That was the core ONE Thing that has allowed me to sell an average of 100 homes a year for 20+ consecutive years. And that lead to the writing of E-Myth Real Estate Agent with Michael Gerber because Michael would keep telling me that selling a 100 homes a year consistently, is not normal. step 7) Take Massive Action - Show. I can't expect someone else to do something I can't do myself. step 13) The Sixth Sense, expect from the Universe, GOD and/or the Higher Power to manifest what you want. Tip: Use the Think and Grow Rich 13 steps as your business plan framework - agenda topics and relate your business into each of these 13 steps. Involve your team and have them participate in the conversations with your business and them in your world and how these relate. This could be the most amazing business planning session you ever have. As always, more ideas and sharing at www.coachkorn.com and www.facebook.com/coachkorn

Building Your Growth Plan - a clubhouse conversation

Today's topic was on Growth Plan. I shared the method that best help me master the most pivotal growth in my real estate business was to teach the material I needed to master. I taught that topic every week for months and months until I had implemented and mastered that "thing" that I wanted to get in place.

Other shares that I took notes on:

Glen Morshower (the actor) shared and continued a topic on being a "10". He actually shared how he coaches agents to show up at the "right size". If a part requires a "5" don't show up as a 10.. you will overshoot the part.

A great new friend, Rick Torrison shared the amazing information about prioritizing the domino
using the success wheel from success magazine Rick shared process for building an action plan. Once you prioritize what, the work on the How Roadmap to significance
step 1) Clarify your Vision
step 2) Where am I now (Identify the GAP where you are and where you want to go)
step 3) How far away are you and what is your motivation to get there?
step 4) What do you have available right now to get you there and move you closer
step 5) what do you need to move closer to that goal
step 6) be aware of what roadblocks, obstacles that can get in the way of getting you there.

Glen shared another great statement
If you were to be charged with the crime of personal development, would the courts have enough evidence to convict you?

Fortune is in the Follow-up: Clubhouse conversation on Details

Share from the Clubhouse app conversation in the Success, Achievers Breakfast club conversation today about 'The Devil is in the Details'. I shared one of the most inspiring books on this subject is "The Slight Edge" by Jeff Olsen. Sharing details like something amazing you do for a client at a success point in the transaction (Like a gift at time of contract accepted) and then when they refer you, and you don't do that regularly.. and that referral doesn't get same experience. Also discussed the "overnight success" of Dave Ramsey. He shared a story how he was a 20-year overnight success spending 20 years getting one small radio station from another for 20 years, and then, overnight, gets a spot on Oprah's show and talks about his book. Then millions of copies sell overnight. Lastly is systematizing those little follow up's to remember to make a call and write a note that can make the biggest difference in the long-game for continuing and strengthening relationships.

Living Without Limits - a clubhouse conversation

Great shares today. This session I shared about living without regrets. If you "wish" something, then take steps and move towards it. Also, one of my biggest life lessons was to stay out of my comfort zone. Always live outside comfort zone and be aware of it. Comfortable is comfortable, therefore you may not even realize you are hanging out there.

If you live outside comfort zone, then if/when something bad happens to you, that can suck you back to comfort zone. In fact, if you are at comfortable, when something happens and you need to be present, you can get sucked into uncomfortable - that will be an additional distraction when you want to be very present.

Other notes I took were:
Don - how to live in expansion vs living in construction
Michelle - the physical body operates in survival on ultimate threats - can afford no mistakes
-reptilian brain can remind of previous threats and that current situation now becomes a threat.
Fight/Flight
Amanda - move from survival to tranformational - value identification and belief identification
Forgiveness piece of the puzzle - 4-step 1) name hurt (identify), 2) talk about it 3) address the person or situation, 4) let that instance or person out of your life, or invite them back in.

Stacie talked about "Deep Works"

Don - even the greatest things we think of, is still a limited thought and we can imagine even more.

Yeliz - shared Ellen Geve - from australia living without food for years - 14 years with only 300 calories per day. medically unheard of

Brian talks about the body and how it reveals so much. For example, if you want to determine if what you are telling yourself it true, and you (and your body believe it) there are signs to watch for.
Ex: "I am worthy" statement. if chest tightens that is 'fear'. Turn into that feeling and breathe in , open chest like a flower blooming... it is about how that feeling is stored in the body.

Dr Christopher shared about Rudolph Stien studies and there are 3 parts of body.. spirit, soul and body.

Lastly was the exercise shared by Michelle: talking bout our imagination. Law of Assumption. If you assume you are there, you will be there.
statement to say to yourself: "by placing new I AM's into my imagination, my future dream is a present fact.

Anything you want to manifest in the present world must first be imagined.

Claiming Your Personal Freedom - a clubhouse conversation

This was my share today from Clubhouse conversation around "claiming your personal freedom. Visit https://coachkorn.blogspot.com/ for more shares on my notes from all the great speakers on stage. My share was about how as humans we are judgmental and our stories in our heads sometimes fester into what is not really happening. Those stories can hold us hostage and it might not even be what is really happening. Mastering the art of living without Regret has helped me. Understanding that God will never give us more than we can handle and that everything that is happening in our lives is to make us stronger, or understand something better or differently and we can chose to learn from everything that happens to be a better person and make the world a better place. My notes: -Jen shared Freedom to take the NEXT action! it is a choice and when we chose to take action that is freeing. -Sam - talked about our beliefs. Our choices revolve around our beliefs. if you believe you are free to control what you can control and taking action you can live a more free life
-Julie - part of the saying.. (bogato Begive?? didn't catch name) - what belongs to someone today, What belonged to someone yesterday, and what belonged to someone yesterday belongs to someone today
saying: "Don't Forget to Go Confidently"
-Amanda shared an outlook when someone is wrongfully accused, how do they deal with that mindset to be free while in prison? our mind is our lens how we see things. We are bound by change of mind - and how we chose to think
-Michelle - Freedom to let go - that fear, struggle etc can hold us captive. She shared about the reticular activator system is picking up information all around us and filtering and sorting that information to us
-Simon - Being good to yourself, your family and being good to everyone else
-Antoine shared how he was in prison for 7 years. lost everything.. job, apartment, everything. he discovered none of that really mattered when he realized the only thing that matters was him! Nothing on the outside matters - everything on the inside does matter.

Are You Adapting to Change

So many great shares on todays Clubhouse app regarding the topic on adapting to change.

Here are some of my notes:
yeliz - Mindset turns to Heart-set turns to Soul-set

coach russ shared a conversation with to agents talking about recruiting to a company. When he brought up the opportunity, they said they would not think about moving, but he should consider their company.. so he approached this "changed" conversation with a new approach - I loved this question..
"what would motivate me to be in business with a close-minded person?" person was offended, and then he asked.. are you choosing to be offended? and opened up for a rescheduled call for both to be open minded and have a different conversation

Do something radically different today.

Russ - look at the conversation you may have in your primary relationship.. is it argumentative? defensive? Make a change to converse lovingly.. and with appreciation

Amanda shared conversation about improving employee experience. What can you change to provide customers, employees and vendors to have an incredible experience when they work with you?
-Adaption of work flow - work flow is the value we bring and makes the experience good or bad
-cutlivate the culture in the company - what radical change can you make to change your culture?

Dr Connor - Chris and recap from Don Hobbs - what covid created was a kind of "shut down" of the world - yet it really opened so many opportunities. People say, let's get back to "Normal" - that is GONE!!! it is not coming back. That was normal then. Normal is now. Normal is not in the past, it IS Change.

Janette shared a GREAT saying: Making Change is never as difficult as accepting change.

My share is in the video above. Gerber says, if your business isn't growing, it's dying. and another saying, "what got you here, won't get you there"

Giving Back, Come from Contribution, a Clubhouse Success conversation

Today's topic is about giving back. So many great conversations around getting back 10-fold when you give, and giving from the heart, not expecting anything in return. Do you live in an abundance mindset and free-willingly give to others?

There were conversations around what your belief is, believe what you believe.
Action follows Belief - shared by Sam Silverstein

Quieting the Mind to get Results - a Clubhouse conversation

Great topics and shares in the App -Clubhouse with Success Magazine every weekday morning. This was my share about quieting the mind to get results and how I was able to move forward after losing my 20 year spouse and business partner.. AND how that mindset opened the door to writing a book with Michael Gerber, E-MythRealEstateAgent.com and meeting my current wife who was a gift to not get stuck in where so many widows can end up.. That one thing helped me see her, meet her and marry her to have an amazing life for the rest of my time here on earth.. for me AND my girls, her family, etc. This family was a Godsend.

The real lesson is to be present in the moment and live your best life or you may miss the next opportunity that shows up. You never know when or where it will show up so always be ready.

Be Your Best YOU: a clubhouse conversation

Be Your Best YOU

How to be your best you. Sharing some "I AM..." statements, quote that helps guide me, and other great stuff about some of the fun planets around the universe. this share was from Clubhouse App room with Success magazine's Achievers Breakfast, every weekday morning from 6am-7:30am Central Time
