Charge The Storm - and have FUN


My M.O. (mode of operating) is "If it isn't fun, don't do it". There are some things that are not going to be fun to do. what I do is "Eat that Frog" or Charge the storm like Buffalo. Cows will sense a storm and start retreating. They are slow so the storm catches up and they keep retreating staying IN the storm longer. Buffaloes will wait till the storm crest the hill, and then charge into it. They get through the storm faster by moving through it. I turn those challenging tasks into a game to get through the storm faster, so it doesn't seem so draining.

Pivot


Taking action is the best way to get moving. If things don't go as planned, know you can control how you handle that. PIVOT and make changes to get results you want. You can take charge and change the outcome. A Pivot is a change in strategy without a change in Vision. 

Multiplicity

Great book I read that gave me a life-lesson was the Fearless Loving and Fearless Living books by Rhonda Britten. Live without excuses and love without regret. The grass is not greener on the other side.. it's just more green grass.

Leadership


In this conversation I share personal experience I have with leadership, and that is to be able to do what you expect other to do at a higher level. A leader leads, and too many times owners of companies don't know how anything really works, and don't track results as well as they could because they just hired other people to run everything. Create your "standards" systems and the tracking for that standard being met, THEN turn your people loose inside the system to create results to their maximum.

Millionaire Real Estate Agent pages 133-148. Read TWELVE TIMES!!! It's 15 pages, you can do it. Put a sticky note on page 133 and another on 148 and tally every time you read it. something magical may happen for you between 4-6 reads. after 12 reads, you will see it starting to show up in your life. AND, most importantly, do not get caught up in the details!!! You can fix those later if you can keep up with the business.

Long Game


The long game is the base to run alongside the current day. Too many people don't understand that 100% capture rate comes over the long game plan. Immediate gratification can be costly and not get the desired results. Before you jump on the next "shiny object" because it is offering a special pricing (like at a conference show special) make a plan and strategy to hold it accountable to a 10x return on your investment.

Your BIG WHY


Many times, someone says "What's Your Why" the responded gets to a surface level WHY. That is good. However, I suggest to really find your core WHY, dig a few layers deeper until you can't answer the questions "so when that happens, what does that do for you?". This conversation can help you break through smaller goals and stay on track for your BIG Monster Goals.

ReInvention


This discussion is about maybe tweaking your passion now in a sort of re-invention to take it to the next level. Is what you do automated? are your results predictable and guaranteed? Do you get 100% buy in from everyone helping? and when you create that system that can help an average person deliver extraordinary results, you are creating or reinventing your business to be even more successful.

Power of Choice


The power IS "you made a choice" and you make choices based on the BEST information you had at that moment. Learn to live without regrets. If your choice didn't have the result you wanted, know THAT is your intel to make an even better choice sometime in the future. I share a topic in the Gratitude posted Dec 30th - E+R=O and I will add to that formula. O+C=E Opportunity + your Choice that is made = and Event. Then plug into Event happens + your Reaction = Outcome. Is it a good or bad outcome? Good would be learning from a bad choice and knowing you are making better choices in the future based on that outcome.

Systems - the Daily Activities for Predictability


Great conversation with my Clubhouse friends around the topic of the first of the year. The topic was Day 1 or 1 Day? I share that the systems give me predictability year after year and give me the things that must get done every day. So, Day 1 for me is every day. I just do the system and once those things are done every day, I can go "ride the day" and that could be an even more productive day, a goof off day or a day of putting out fires. Either way the MUST DO items are all completed.
