Chose Success Activities Every Day

In this session I share that I don't think people wake up wanting to have an unsuccessful day... many times they just may not know where to start.. or what right activity will move them that direction Making daily choices to move toward success is simple. Michael Gerber, author of E-Myth books, shared that we all make everything more difficult than it needs to be. Success is a journey, not a destination. The DO-ing is more important than the outcome.

this was also shared on the call today
Success - definition in webster is that it is the termination of anything intended (accomplished)

strive not to be person of success, be a person of value

Kim - did away with dis-empowering words... "can't" - don't use it. or when shopping with kids, don't say "that's too expensive".. instead, it is something you don't need at the moment.

Leadership - What Leads a Leader conversation from Clubhouse

In this clip, I share my perspective on leadership and how I have lead throughout my journey as a leader. Glen Morshower shared how what leads him is the legacy he is leaving as a successful TV and Hollywood actor. I shared that I have found too many people in leadership positions feel as though they need to still prove something, or prove they should be in that leadership role. In actuality.. they are in that role because of something they already did to get there. In the book Good to Great, Jim Collins study's the long term success of good businesses and GREAT businesses (those that are still growing and lasting longer than 20+ years) Also, that I look at leadership as the vision (guiding), coaching (accountability), teaching (basic fundamentals needed) and consulting (nudging when they need it) Also shared the difference of being a - Dependent leader (they need you to follow and you carry the weight) - Independent (they go off on their own and work alone) -Interdependent (we become partners - collaborate - stake holders - The BEST way to lead)

Also shared on this call - Leading from the front - posers.. we talked about leading with vision from front of room and then going to the back to grab a "to do" and get to work with the group. Leaders have blind spots. A coach can help uncovers those blind spots Inspiration and motivation comes from pain and pleasure and knowing how to use those to get the team where they want to go Glen Morshower: What leads me? My Legacy. Every day he remembers how he did it, and do IT with clarity Tony shared that some people do that role for money.. I shared that is what leads to trying to "prove" something vs being able to focus on leading to a legacy of helping that group or organization make amazing things happen as an interdependent leader - joining them. Don asked a great question: What are the qualities of a leader in your life that made them so important in your world? -I answered with - someone that makes everyone feel important
- They make you feel like you are the only one they are talking to and working with. Bridget shared looking for team player. someone humble, wholy and smart

Kimberly mentioned leading yourself first.. using systems and having that clarity

Know well what leads you forward and what holds you back
Come from the heart. Process, systems and management will be the tools to make the leadership easier so you can stay focused on the heart
We are all emotional beings

Dr Connor: followers need safety and security
Tony - anchor - what is the specific thing that happens and talked about what creating and collapsing the anchors

Cheryl shared - leaders have a "theory" by which you make decisions and lead. Be willing to work.
Dr Devin- constancy of purpose. Have a unified direction
Rick - has website for boss manager test. find me to get the link.. or googe Rick Torrison

A conversation about how Success Favors Courage

How can I make today better than yesterday? Make the world a better place than we I found it.. so we can have the best life and so can our kids, and their kids, and their kids for generations to come. Have an impact. Successful people like to "solve problems" and they take action to find the solution. There are always other people that would love the solution to the problem and successful people share their solutions. It is way more fun to be on the other side of success with others, than alone.. who would be there to celebrate with you? statement from Dave Ramsey that has always stuck with me: Live Like no one else today - so you can LIVE like NO ONE else

Think & Grow Rich and How I applied to my life

Today the topic was on Think and Grow Rich by Napolean Hill. When hanging with some of the most amazing thought leaders and business coaches in the world, the conversation can get pretty amazing! I share in this video how reading books, writing down every title that someone every suggested and literally buying that book on the spot is what helped to break through that programming that was me as I was growing up. Step 4) Specialize - I referenced the ONE Thing, and today how Gary Keller's Books were an influence on that. Millionaire Real Estate Agent (take our realtor and plug in YOUR profession, and this book will relate). I suggest every business, group, anyone read pages 133-148 a minimum of a dozen times. I did. That was the core ONE Thing that has allowed me to sell an average of 100 homes a year for 20+ consecutive years. And that lead to the writing of E-Myth Real Estate Agent with Michael Gerber because Michael would keep telling me that selling a 100 homes a year consistently, is not normal. step 7) Take Massive Action - Show. I can't expect someone else to do something I can't do myself. step 13) The Sixth Sense, expect from the Universe, GOD and/or the Higher Power to manifest what you want. Tip: Use the Think and Grow Rich 13 steps as your business plan framework - agenda topics and relate your business into each of these 13 steps. Involve your team and have them participate in the conversations with your business and them in your world and how these relate. This could be the most amazing business planning session you ever have. As always, more ideas and sharing at www.coachkorn.com and www.facebook.com/coachkorn
